Royal Bafokeng Holdings

Royal Bafokeng Holdings (Pty) Limited, through its subsidiary Royal Bafokeng Resources, increased its interest in the Bafokeng Rasimone Platinum Mine Joint Venture to 67%. The mine produces approximately 180,000 Pt oz per annum and includes the R2.4 billion Merensky Phase II Project, as well as the 200 000 Pt oz per annum R8.1 billion (mid-2009 money terms) adjacent Styldrift Project. Royal Bafokeng Holdings (Pty) Limited is responsible for the management and development of the commercial assets of the Royal Bafokeng Nation. Royal Bafokeng Holdings was advised by Fasken Martineau with a team that included Andrew Mitchell, Blaize Vance, Nicola Jackson, Ludwig Frahm-Arp, Conor McFadden, and Jan Bouwman.
