Fasken advises FTSE Group on the creation of the FTSE TMX Debt Capital Markets

Fasken Martineau advised FTSE Group (FTSE), a part of the London Stock Exchange, in connection with the agreement between FTSE and TMX Datalinx to combine their fixed income index businesses in a new joint venture, FTSE TMX Debt Capital Markets. FTSE is a leading provider of fixed income indices in the UK. PC-Bond, the fixed income index business of TMS Datalinx, the TMX Group’s information services division, is the leading provider of fixed indices in Canada. Together these indices are used as benchmarks for more than CDN$1 trillion in fixed income assets.
