On March 28, 2013, U.S. private equity firm CCMP Capital Advisors’ portfolio company Milacron LLC, a global plastics industry leader, announced that it had completed its previously announced agreement to acquire Mold-Masters Limited, a leading global hot-runner manufacturer, from private equity firm 3i Group and other shareholders. Under the terms of the transaction, Milacron acquired 100% of Mold-Masters for an enterprise value of C$975 million. Fasken Martineau was Canadian legal counsel to CCMP Capital Advisors and Milacron.
