Weenen v. Biadi, 2015 ONSC 6832

On November 6, 2015, Salmers J. of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice ordered that Graziano Biadi pay to Matthew Weenen $265,000 in damages and $125,000 in punitive damages in relation to flooding which Mr. Biadi had caused to Mr. Weenen’s lands over many years. His Honour also ordered that Mr. Biadi perform certain remedial work to help prevent further flooding, and that he immediately pay into court more than $150,000 as security related to that work.
