A&E Networks acquires global distribution rights to 150 Reel One Movies

A&E Television Networks, LLC (A&E) acquired the global distribution rights to more than 150 movies from Reel One Entertainment, and secured an output deal with the company covering 15 additional movies a year. This deal represents the expansion of A&E’s movie offering A&E, a New York-based entertainment media company, was founded in 1984, and is a joint venture of The Hearst Corporation and The Walt Disney Company.
