On October 2, 2017, Colarôme Inc., a natural food additives provider, was sold to Capol GmbH. This transaction includes Colarôme’s manufacturing plant in Canada. With the acquisition of Colarôme, Capol hopes to strategically develop the business segment of additives for the food industry.
Both Capol and Colarôme have very similar business models, so they expect a swift integration into Capol. The acquisition generates substantial synergy effects, they will offer and develop products that precisely meet their customers’ requirements.
