Hullmark Developments and Sun Life investment management Radiator joint venture

On December 1, 2017, Hullmark Developments Ltd. and three related limited partnerships completed a joint venture transaction with Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada in connection with the Radiator property (three adjoining commercial properties) in Toronto, Ontario. The Radiator transaction was awarded the Investment Deal of the Year Award at the 17th Annual NAIOP Greater Toronto Real Estate Excellence (REX) Awards. Fasken represented Hullmark Developments Ltd. with a team comprised of Marty Emmons, Allyson Roy, Joanne Meadowcroft and Jennifer Parker (Real Estate) and Scott Conover and Christine Alfano (Corporate/Commercial). Fasken also represented the joint venture in connection with the restructuring of the financing of the properties with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce as lender with a team comprised of Maria Holder and Caleigh Caplan (Real Estate).
