Fasken advised the lenders to the winning consortium in relation to a new seven-storey, 600,000 square-foot hospital in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, which will be connected to the 145-bed long-term care facility that the client is currently building on the site.
Over the course of the new hospital’s construction, an estimated 4,000 person years of employment and $460 million CAD in GDP is expected to be created in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Fasken advised the lenders with a team led by Brian Kelsall which included Ella Plotkin, Marc Lefler, Sean Morley and Zackary Burashko.
