Barry Callebaut

During negotiations for the renewal of the collective agreement, Barry Callebaut faced several days of strike action at his Saint-Hyacinthe plant. This plant, which is the largest chocolate factory in the Americas and the second largest in the world, produces more than 190,000 tonnes of chocolate per year. Collective bargaining, despite several days of strike action, led to the conclusion of a six-year collective agreement, ratified by the employees in September 2019, which provides stability for several years. A Fasken team led by Stéphane Fillion who acted as spokesperson for the Company during the negotiations and also included Charles Wagner and Valérie Gareau-Dalpé.
