Represented Richter Advisory Group Inc., as Court-appointed receiver of Davids Footwear. Davids Footwear is an iconic Toronto shoe store. We acted for the receiver in the high profile liquidation of four Davids locations in Ontario. Our role involved extensive negotiations with landlords, suppliers, employees and other stakeholders of Davids Footwear. This matter was followed closely by the Toronto media and many participants in the retail industry as the “Davids” brand is an iconic Toronto luxury footwear brand. The receiver was able to negotiate a transaction for the sale of the “Davids” intellectual property which may result in the continuation of the “Davids” brand.
