On October 5th 2020, Novacap Financial Services, a leading Canadian private equity firm, announced that it acquired a majority of the issued and outstanding voting shares in AG Financial Group Inc, one of Québec’s leading employee benefits advisory firms and third-party administrators of group insurance and retirement plans.

Novacap Financial Services is the first Canadian private equity firm to launch a fund dedicated to investing in financial services business. This partnership with AGA is Novacap’s third investment made using this dedicated fund.
