On March 1st, 2021, Agropur Cooperative (“Agropur”), Canada’s largest dairy cooperative, announced the closing of the sale of all shares of Ultima Foods Inc., a division of Agropur dedicated to the business of yogurt, to Lactalis Canada Inc. Under the terms of the agreement announced on December 17, 2020, the acquisition includes IÖGO and IÖGO nanö yogurt brands as well as the Olympic yogurt, sour cream and kefir brand.
Founded in 1938, Agropur Cooperative is one of the 20 largest dairy industry players in the world.
