On May 11, 2021, Verbit Inc., an internet company that specializes in combining human and artificial intelligence to provide transcription and captioning solutions, completed the acquisition of VITAC, the largest provider of captioning products and solutions in North America.

This acquisition will position Verbit as the number one player in the professional transcription and captioning market across legal, media, education, government and corporate sector.
