On December 18, 2022, Foodtastic Inc., a restaurant franchisor, entered into an agreement to acquire healthy fast dining restaurant chain Freshii Inc. by acquiring all of the issued and outstanding shares of Freshii for $2.30 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $74.4 million. Freshii’s brand, franchise network and talent will benefit from Foodtastic’s greater market scale. This acquisition by Foodtastic will generate additional opportunities for Freshii's consumer packaged goods business.
