FortisBC in BC Utilities Commission proceeding examining utility cost of capital.

Fasken acted as lead counsel for FortisBC, British Columbia’s largest gas utility and second largest electric utility in a proceeding initiated by the British Columbia Utilities Commission to examine the cost of capital, regulated rate of return on equity and capital structure of utilities in the province.  

Fasken represented FortisBC Energy Inc. and FortisBC Inc. with a team led by Matthew Ghikas (Energy) and included Tariq Ahmed and Courtney Gibbons (Energy).
