Overview

Client

Lü, the Québec City-based company, has acquired the French firm Marbotic. Lü is an interactive learning system through physical activity. More specifically, Lü Interactive Playground transforms learning spaces into immersive learning environments for elementary-aged students.

The Québec company acquired Marbotic with its Belgian partner Megaform, a Bordeaux company that was facing its creditors before the Tribunal de commerce.

The agreement was reached with Marbotic’s creditors and shareholders in a restructuring context and allowed Marbotic to escape insolvency.

A Fasken team composed of Vincent Girard and Anne-Sophie Godbout advised Lü in its acquisition.
