On July 21, 2023, Bevo Farms, one of the largest suppliers of propagated vegetables and ornamental plants in North America, acquired the “Sun” facility, located in Medicine Hat, Alberta, from Aurora Cannabis Inc. The sale was completed through the acquisition of one of Aurora's wholly-owned subsidiaries by Bevo Farms. Aurora’s total consideration from the sale could be up to $15 million, payable over time, based on the achievement of certain financial milestones by Bevo Farms.
