Artelia acquired 100% of the shares in FNX-INNOV and its subsidiaries, including its banners The S.M. Group Inc., A.X.C. Services Inc., A.X.C. Construction Inc., held by Québec investment fund Beaver Group Holdings Inc.
Artelia completed the major acquisition of FNX-INNOV, thus pursuing its growth strategy by expanding its presence to the North American market and making FNX-INNOV its leading business platform in North America.
In 2018, Fasken assisted Beaver Group Holdings Inc. in its acquisition of The S.M. Group Inc., while the members of The S.M. Group Inc. were placed under creditor protection. FNX-INNOV has achieved sustained growth for the past four years, generating C$139 million in 2022.
