From June through September 2022, Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) completed the sale of four separate affordable housing portfolios to Circle Community LandTrust Inc., which, in the aggregate, included 387 scattered houses located in the City of Toronto.
The transfers will help improve service to the tenants, bring the units into a state of good repair, protect the houses as affordable housing in perpetuity, and build capacity in the non-profit housing sector.
