On April 8 2025, Puzzle Medical Devices Inc. (“Puzzle Medical”), a Quebec-based medical technology startup supporting patients with heart failure, announced the closing of a C$43 million funding round led by KF Matheson and Desjardins Capital. 

The capital will be used to refine Puzzle Medical’s heart pump device and assess the safety and efficacy of the device through a clinical study.

Fasken advised Puzzle Medical with a team led by Constantinos Ragas which included Alexie Amyotte and Tristan Lalumière-Roberge.
