On 30 July 2025, UAC of Nigeria PLC (UAC), a publicly listed investment company in Nigeria, announced its agreement to acquire Chivita|Hollandia (CHI Limited) from The Coca-Cola Company. CHI Limited is a market leader in Nigeria’s food and beverage sector, with flagship brands Hollandia and Chivita dominating the dairy and juice categories respectively.
Following approval by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission of Nigeria, the acquisition completed on 3 October 2025, marking a significant milestone in UAC’s growth trajectory and enhancing its footprint and competitiveness in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods industry.
