On December 1, 2025, Acera Holdings Ltd. (“AHL”), the parent corporation of Acera Insurance Services Ltd. (“AIS”), entered into a definitive arrangement agreement with, among others, Navacord Corp. (“Navacord”) and Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management Inc. The transaction was completed on February 2, 2026 by way of plan of arrangement under Section 193 of the Business Corporations Act (Alberta) and was subject to achieving regulatory, court and shareholder approvals.
The combined entities form one of Canada’s largest privately held insurance, employee benefits and wealth advisory firms.
