On August 11, 2025, Appian Capital Advisory LLC completed a blended US$175 million financing for Asante Gold Corporation, a gold‑exploration, development‑and‑operating company with a high‑quality portfolio of projects and mines in Ghana.
This financing consisted of a US$40 million commitment under a senior secured debt facility, a US$75 million mezzanine facility, a US$50 million gold‑stream arrangement, and a US$10 million private placement of common shares of Asante Gold Corporation, and formed part of a US$470 million financing package for Asante.
Fasken advised on all parts of the financing package with a team led by Tom Eldridge and including Brian Graves, Allison Marks, Claire Gowdy, Danuta de Vries and Carlie Hooman.
