Supercast Podcast Corp. (Supercast), a leading subscription platform for podcast creators, announced that it has been acquired by Red Seat Ventures, a division of Fox Corporation’s (Nasdaq: FOXA, FOX) Tubi Media Group.
Supercast, which was founded in 2019, will continue to operate autonomously under its founder and CEO Jason Sew Hoy and plans to accelerate investment in product development, creator growth and team expansion with support from Red Seat Ventures.
Fasken advised Supercast with a team led by Steve Saville (M&A) and Geoff Pedlow (M&A), and included Brock Euper (M&A), Kulshan Mahal (M&A), Chris Ross (Tax), and Jessy Oduro-Kwachie (Articling Student).
