On March 26, 2026, Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. (“WPM”), a Canadian precious metals streaming company focused on delivering sustainable value through streaming, entered into a senior unsecured, multi‑jurisdictional financing arrangement to partially finance its acquisition of a silver stream on the Antamina Mine from a wholly-owned subsidiary of BHP Group Limited. Under a credit agreement dated March 26, 2026, a syndicate of international lenders led by Bank of Montreal, made available to WPM a US$1.5 billion non-revolving credit facility, the process of which was used to partially finance the US$4.3 billion silver stream purchase price.
