Novacap and H5 Data Centers have launched HyscaleIX Data Centers, a new joint venture created to acquire and operate key carrier hotels across North America.
As part of this initiative, the platform has acquired a portfolio of highly interconnected facilities from 365 Data Centers, along with an additional site in the U.S. Midwest. Each location hosts its local internet exchange and serves as a critical network hub, giving HyscaleIX an immediate and meaningful presence across four established data center markets.
This new platform strengthens Novacap’s strategy of building a robust and diversified digital infrastructure portfolio by combining long‑term institutional capital with H5’s proven operational expertise. These carrier hotels play an essential role in regional network ecosystems, supporting dense connectivity environments and enabling next‑generation workloads across cloud, AI, network, and enterprise applications.
HyscaleIX represents a natural evolution of the partnership between Novacap and H5, following the successful launch of Hyscale Data Centers last year and reinforcing their shared commitment to scaling high‑quality digital infrastructure across North America.
A Fasken team composed of Charles Chevrette, Simon Bisson, Jocelyn Auger and Aurélie Ménard advised Novacap in this transaction.
