On June 4, 2026, Scispot, a Kitchener-Waterloo-based technology company, announced the closing of a US$8 million Series A financing round led by Avenue Growth Partners, with participation from existing investor Breakwater Ventures. The all-equity financing brings the company’s total funding to nearly US$10 million and is intended to support the continued expansion of its AI-powered platform for life sciences laboratories.
The financing enables the company to accelerate product development and meet growing demand from a rapidly expanding customer base, positioning it to play a key role in advancing next-generation “self-driving” laboratories that integrate AI while maintaining scientific oversight.
Fasken advised Scispot with a team led by Jon Conlin and which included Satnam Singh Dosanjh and Kirsten Saikaly.
