On April 27, 2026, Serenity Power, a Calgary and Toronto-based cleantech company developing compact solid oxide fuel cell systems, raised C$1.16 million in a pre‑seed round led by Avatar Ventures, with additional support from Antimo, RPV, Front Row Ventures, The Firehood, Rep Matters, and a Toronto-based climate-tech VC. Serenity Power will use the funds to accelerate prototype development, systems engineering, and pilot projects in Alberta and Italy, transitioning from lab-scale innovation to field demonstrations. Fasken advised Serenity Power on structuring and closing the financing to support its next stage of commercialization.
