On July 16, 2025, Defiance Silver Corp., a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on precious and base metals projects in Mexico, completed the acquisition of all issued and outstanding shares of Green Earth Metals Inc., a privately held company with a portfolio of copper-gold-silver exploration projects in Sonora, Mexico.
The acquisition provides Defiance with a 100% interest in Green Earth Metals and its Victoria, Espiritu and Los Ocotes projects, covering approximately 6,795 hectares in the Sonoran copper belt. The transaction expands Defiance's exploration portfolio into a highly prospective copper-gold-silver region and strengthens its exposure to multiple mineral systems across Mexico.
