On February 26, 2026, MBI Global, a subsidiary of Groupe Rouillier and a provider of drilling solutions through its VersaDrill Canada, Neolithik and GtechDrill brands, acquired a new manufacturing facility in the Asia-Pacific region as part of its global growth strategy.
The acquisition represents the second phase of MBI Global's strategic expansion in the Asia-Pacific market following its partnership with AustEx Australian Exploration Engineering. The new ISO 9001-certified facility will primarily manufacture drilling consumables, including drill rods and related equipment, significantly increasing the company's production capacity and enhancing product availability worldwide. The transaction strengthens MBI Global's global manufacturing footprint and supports faster delivery times, improved logistics and enhanced customer service across international markets.
