Overview

On March 4, 2026, Vior Gold Corporation, a Québec-based mineral exploration company, entered into an asset purchase agreement with Agnico Eagle Mines Limited to acquire a 100% interest in the Kinebik, Peacock and Launay properties located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt.

The transaction substantially expands Vior's gold exploration portfolio through the acquisition of 1,613 exclusive exploration rights covering more than 86,000 hectares. As consideration, Vior will issue approximately 45.7 million common shares to Agnico Eagle, representing 9.9% of its issued and outstanding shares, and pay C$750,000 in cash, while also granting certain royalty and investor rights. The acquisition adds district-scale exploration assets, including the Kinebik property covering approximately 55 kilometres of the Cameron Break, and establishes Agnico Eagle as a strategic shareholder of Vior.
