On March 31, 2026, Groupe Lebel inc. completed the court-approved acquisition of the F.F. Soucy mill in Rivière-du-Loup, together with certain equipment and land located in Rivière-du-Loup and Saint-Antonin.
The transaction was completed through a bankruptcy process supervised by the Québec Superior Court and involved the acquisition of assets from bankruptcy trustee Raymond Chabot. The acquisition provides Groupe Lebel with an opportunity to evaluate future development and operational opportunities for the acquired assets while supporting economic activity in the Rivière-du-Loup region.
