Faheema Rahim is a Senior Associate in the Fasken Johannesburg Corporate & Commercial practice group. She has experience advising clients in various industries, including energy, telecommunications, financial services and mining on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and unbundling, company law, corporate governance, contract law, private equity and venture capital transactions.
She has drafted various commercial agreements and constitutional documents and assisted in conducting legal due diligence investigations for listed and non-listed companies.
Faheema has experience working in-house at a South African Independent Power Producer providing renewable energy solutions to commercial and industrial customers. Her experience in this role includes drafting and reviewing commercial agreements such as power purchase agreements and battery storage rental agreements, providing ad-hoc legal advice to the directors and other departments of the business, advising on potentially litigious matters and providing contract management services.
