Overview

Ferdinand Pike is an Associate in the Labour, Employment and Human Rights Practice Group.  He advises and supports clients on a range of employment and workplace matters, drawing on experience gained during his articles at Fasken.

During his time as a Candidate Attorney, Ferdinand completed rotations in labour and employment law, corporate and commercial law, and dispute resolution. He has assisted with the drafting of pleadings, agreements, legal opinions, information requests and other legal documentation. He has also been involved in disciplinary hearings, arbitrations and court proceedings, providing practical support across a variety of workplace disputes and employment-related matters.

Ferdinand is a registered member of the South African Society for Labour Law (SASLAW) and is committed to staying abreast of developments in the labour and employment law landscape. He regularly attends industry events and webinars and participates in departmental training on key judgments of the Labour Court, Labour Appeal Court and Constitutional Court, as well as other significant developments affecting employers and workplaces in South Africa.
