Geneva Montagna joined the Fasken team in Montréal after completing her third year of law school at McGill University’s Faculty of Law.
Before attending law school, Geneva obtained a bachelor’s degree from McGill University, majoring in sociology, with minors in political science and gender, sexuality, feminist and social justice studies. Currently, she is pursuing her Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor at her alma mater. During her legal studies, Geneva completed a clerkship at the Municipal Court of the City of Montreal, and held various positions at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill. These experiences have deepened her interest in the legal field and her commitment to helping others navigate the complexities of the law.
Prior to joining Fasken, Geneva developed extensive experience in customer service through roles in retail and restaurant environments. She also worked at a boutique immigration and refugee law firm, where she was able to further hone her research and advocacy skills. Committed to bettering our communities, Geneva has also volunteered with numerous non-profit organizations.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Geneva enjoys reading, travelling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new restaurants.
