Geneviève Richard is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial group at our Montréal office. Her practice covers all aspects of business law, including mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, private equity, corporate finance and securities law.
Geneviève advises companies and institutional investors on organizing their business activities or complex purchase, sale, merger, financing and restructuring transactions, both nationally and internationally. She also represents issuers and brokers in their financing activities, whether by prospectus or private placement.
Geneviève completed a bachelor’s degree in civil law from the Université de Montréal, during which she was involved in writing legal briefs for Pro Bono Students Canada. Prior to joining Fasken, Geneviève practised in a boutique firm specializing in family law litigation.
