Guillaume Giguère is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial and Mergers & Acquisitions groups in the Québec City office. His practice focuses on complex, large-scale regional, national, and international M&A transactions, as well as private equity matters.
He represents and advises private and publicly held companies, institutional and strategic investors, and venture capital firms on a wide range of transactional matters and investments across diverse industries and sectors.
Guillaume is known for his meticulous work ethic and pragmatic approach, his ability to deliver creative and innovative solutions, and his extensive knowledge of leading trends and practices in the Canadian mergers and acquisitions and private equity markets.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil law (LL.L., cum laude) from the University of Ottawa and a Graduate Diploma (D.E.S.S.) in Business Law from Université Laval. He has been a member of the Québec Bar since 2018.
Prior to joining Fasken, Guillaume practised for several years in the business law group of another large national firm.
