Overview

Jacques Marais is in the Real Estate team in Johannesburg advising clients on commercial property transactions, renewable energy project developments (infrastructure and development) and all related real estate law matters.

Jacques has a proven history of being a part of legal teams advising some of the largest commercial and residential property developers and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) in South Africa over the last few years. Jacques’ work in these areas of the law consists of all aspects of real estate work, including conveyancing, property finance, commercial property developments, renewable energy project developments (infrastructure and development) sectional title schemes, retirement villages and mergers and acquisitions.
