Jasmine is a summer student in Fasken's Calgary office. Jasmine joins Fasken following the completion of her first year of law school at the University of Ottawa in the French Common Law Program. During her first year, she volunteered with the Ottawa Law Review, supporting the editing and verification of legal sources, and worked as a parliamentary tour guide, offering bilingual tours of both the House of Commons and the Senate.
Prior to law school, Jasmine was the Humanities Department Head at a middle school in Calgary and taught grade eight and nine French Immersion Humanities for seven and a half years. She also contributed to curriculum development for Alberta Education and worked as a research assistant focusing on Francophone immigrant experiences.
In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys indoor rock climbing, recreational volleyball and badminton, and volunteering in her community.
