Overview

Jason McMurtrie is a Senior Law Clerk and Team Lead in the firm’s Toronto Banking and Finance Group and has worked in the legal profession as a law clerk since 1997.

Jason's work is primarily focused on mining and project financing, asset-based lending, syndicated, asset-based, senior and subordinated debt financing, cross-border lending and debt restructuring. He has extensive experience in assisting both lenders and borrowers in a variety of debt financing arrangements (domestic and multi-jurisdictional).

Jason has spoken on various topics relating to personal property security matters and law clerk career development, and is a frequent guest speaker at Seneca College’s Law Clerk Career Preparation Days.
