Overview

Julie Delisle is the Senior Director, Commercial and Related Services for the Montréal and Québec City Fasken’s offices.

Recognized as a strategic growth leader with strong teamwork, analytical skills and a high sense of business, Julie leads the team of Paralegals and their assistants, the Linguistic Services and the Intellectual Property Agency, which includes over 100 professionals. Julie is responsible for administrative matters, the professional development and training of her team, the development, implementation and communication of policies and procedures, the recruitment, performance evaluation, and the preparation and analysis of financial and statistical reports on her team’s profitability. She also works closely with the Managing Partner, General  Manager and with the practice group leaders for the Quebec region to identify opportunities for improvement. Julie represents the firm as an active member of the legal community in various groups and associations.

With over 25 years of experience in the legal industry, Julie acted as Director of corporate services for another Montreal law firm, and as a business law and litigation paralegal for law firms and in-house legal departments. She has been involved in a variety of major commercial transactions.

Julie is a member of the International Practice Management Association (IPMA) since 2009 and is the Montreal Chapter Chair and Co-Chair of the Conference committee of the IPMA. In 2022, she was elected on the Board of IPMA as Vice President, Division III Chapter Development & Support.

Julie has in-depth understanding of her clients’ legal needs and issues. Versatile and hardworking, she strives on challenges and getting her teammates to surpass themselves. Collaboration and problem solving are two fundamental values that she advocates.
