Karen Rubbo joined the Fasken Team as a student in 2024 at the Montréal office after completing her third year of law school at Université de Montréal.
Karen was very active in the Faculty of Law during her studies. She was a member of the delegation representing Université de Montréal at the Sopinka Cup trial advocacy competition and the Coupe Guy-Guérin competition. She also worked as a research assistant for a professor and had the opportunity to participate in a student exchange at the University of Roma Tre in Italy.
Before choosing law, she completed an Bachelor’s degree in Honours International development at McGill University and worked in the non-profit sector. Her academic excellence throughout her studies was recognized as she graduated with distinction and first-class Honours.
In addition to her professional and extracurricular activities, Karen enjoys reading, hiking, and trying new restaurants.
