Katerina Ignatova graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.   Prior to law school, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University and graduated Summa Cum Laude.  During the summer of 2019, Katerina worked as an Intern for Blue J Legal where she conducted legal research and extracted data from Canadian and US tax law cases.  Her other experience includes working as a Research Administration Analyst at McMaster University, a Redevelopment Project Administrator at the Joseph Brant Hospital, and a Summer Research Student at the Farncombe Digestive Health Research Institute.  At law school, Katerina’s extracurricular and volunteer experience included working as an Associate Editor with the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review, a Senior Editor with the Critical Analysis of Law Journal, a Client Intake Volunteer with the Downtown Legal Services Clinic, and a member of the Bill 175 Project for the Police Oversight Working Group. She also participated in the University of Toronto Trial Advocacy Program. Lastly, Katerina received the Rotman@Law Business Certificate, having completed introductory courses in Finance, Accounting, and Quantitative Management. In her spare time, Katerina enjoys baking, reading, and meditation. She is fluent in Russian and is a certified First-Aid Instructor.
