Overview

Katherine Rubin is Counsel in Fasken’s Knowledge and Practice Innovation department, and works with the Banking and Finance group across the Firm.

In this role, Katherine assists the Banking and Finance group by creating and locating resources and content to ensure the efficient and consistent delivery of high quality legal services, and by maximizing the group’s shared intellectual capital.

Prior to joining Fasken in a knowledge management capacity, Katherine was a commercial real estate and secured transactions lawyer at one of Alberta’s largest law firms. She originally began her career at Fasken as an articling student and junior associate.

Katherine has a broad range of experience in banking and finance law, and has represented both borrowers and lenders in a variety of industries and sectors in completing secured lending transactions.
