Kimia joined Fasken’s Vancouver office as a student in 2025, after completing her second year at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law.
In her first year of law school, Kimia worked with a prominent pharmaceutical conglomerate, where she conducted comprehensive company-wide audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. During her second year, in addition to her academic commitments, she provided strategic consulting for capital projects and transit infrastructure across Western Canada with a respected advisory firm.
Prior to her legal studies, Kimia was an Associate at a management consulting firm, where she supported the development of leadership teams across various sectors, including commercial, governmental, professional, and non-profit. She also completed an eight-month placement with the United Nations, where she contributed to the repurposing of staple crops and helped implement national food fortification laws.
Kimia holds an Honours BSc in Food, Nutrition, and Health from the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Land and Food Systems (2020), as well as an MSc in Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry from McGill University (2021). Throughout her studies, she actively volunteered with the Undergraduate Society and worked full-time in the legal sector.
Outside of work, Kimia enjoys group fitness, exploring wine country, and spending time with friends and family.
