Overview

Kristy is a student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she was awarded the David Roberts Prize in Legal Writing and the Gerald Donegan, KC Prize in Constitutional Law. During her studies, she served as Co-President of the Asia Pacific Law Club and as Student Affairs Coordinator for the Law Students' Society.

Kristy is currently serving as an Allard Law Ambassador and has volunteered with the Legal Education Outreach Program and Pro Bono Students Canada. Some of Kristy's recent experiences include working in the legal department of a large consumer electronics retailer as part of the Corporate Counsel Externship Program and for the Sauder Real Estate Division where she assisted in the maintenance of licensing courses.

Before law school, Kristy obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. She completed work placements at the Government of Canada and a personal injury firm.

Outside of work, Kristy enjoys trying new fitness classes, watching cooking shows, and travelling.
