Kulshan Mahal is a corporate/commercial lawyer advising clients in the technology sector and other high-growth industries. Kulshan advises entrepreneurs, start-ups, and venture-backed companies on a range of issues, from inception of the business to the growth and procurement phases.
Kulshan provides strategic counsel to private companies on a range of business transactions and commercial activities, including start-up and incorporation issues, debt and equity angel and venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.
Prior to law school, Kulshan completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance at the University of Alberta. At the Peter A. Allard School of Law, Kulshan was a tutor for first-year law students, editor at the UBC Law Review, and president of the UBC South Asian Law Students’ Association. He also played for the Allard Law basketball club.
In his free time, Kulshan enjoys playing sports, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
