Laurie-Anne Mercier is an associate in the Corporate/Commercial group at our Montréal office. Her practice covers various aspects of business law, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, securities law, and corporate governance matters. She advises public and private companies on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public financings and private placements.
Prior to joining Fasken, Laurie-Anne practiced at a leading national law firm, where she worked on public and private mergers and acquisitions, including cross-border transactions, and on capital markets and securities matters. In 2022, she served as a law clerk to the Honourable Suzanne Côté of the Supreme Court of Canada.
