Lenate Joubert is an Associate at Fasken in the Corporate & Commercial Practice Group specialising in tax in the South African office.

Lenate assists clients on a broad range of taxation matters with a focus on corporate income tax, indirect taxes and South African exchange control. She works closely with the Corporate and Commercial team advising on the tax implications of a variety of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity funding, corporate restructuring and international tax related matters.

Lenate is experienced in litigating against the South African Revenue Service, preparing and submitting voluntary disclosure applications and assisting taxpayers in enforcing their procedural rights within the realm of the dispute resolution process, audits, refunds and third-party appointments as governed under the Tax Administration Act 28 of 2011.
