Leslie Whittaker is a labour, employment and human rights lawyer in Fasken's Vancouver office, advising businesses on a broad range of workplace matters.

Leslie advises employers on all aspects of the employment relationship, from hiring to termination and the many legal intricacies in-between.

She is skilled at drafting employment agreements and policies, and experienced in assisting employers navigate and resolve workplace issues as they arise. She regularly provides advice on employment standards, wrongful dismissal and constructive dismissal claims, post-employment competition issues, bullying & harassment, workplace accommodations, privacy matters and human rights complaints.

Leslie takes a no-nonsense approach — she is an engaging and practical problem-solver, helping clients understand their options and implementing strategies that efficiently achieve client goals.

Leslie has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia, and represents employers at provincial and federal human rights and employment standards tribunals.

Before becoming a lawyer, Leslie received professional theatre training. In her spare time, she loves getting outside and exploring BC's beautiful backcountry.
